This hotel is 121 years old and a valuable part of BC history. It is well cared for and loved by its owners and staff. We enjoyed our stay enormously. The food was marvellous, they have an extensive menu. The coffee shop is home to some of the most magnificent eclairs I have ever seen. The view of the lake from the walkway just below the hotel is amazing. The rooms are better than you can reasonably expect from such a historic building, and the shower was much better than some modern, plastic, and characterless hotels with more amenities. We fully intend to return and to spend more time there.

do not stay here..... they cant even make the beds. better off in a tent
