I was there for lunch and ordered the shrimp and scallop salad and it was terrible. The lettuce was either brown or rotten. It was a special occasion so I didn't want to complain in front of everyone. When I phoned to complain later they just said thanks for letting us know. I have been there several times and have ordered other things which have been good.
I took a friend out for dinner on Saturday January 4th to Mr. Mikes in Cranbrook and we had the best service. Our waitress was Paige and she was awesome!!! keep it up Mr Mikes :)
Scallop and prawn salad. Good
Good food and pretty good service. I’ve visited this Mr Mikes several times over the past couple of years and have really enjoyed their food. My two favourites are the steak & prawns $21, and the chicken & seafood $15. They offer an apple crumble or a mixed berry crumble dessert; $6, both of which are well worth the price. A couple of the times I’ve experienced slow service, likely resulting from the server forgetting to place my order. Oh well, they made it right by adjusting the bill on one occasion and buying me a big glass of wine on another. For the most part, the service is good. The décor is comfortable and modern.
