It's just a nice place to go, it's the only bar in town where I feel at home and the food has always been great. The pub is unapologetic in its no-frills atmosphere and bare-bones service, but don't let that scare you away. The pub has some of the best burgers in town and daily specials. Wing Thursdays used to be a good deal until they increased the price, but in return it seems like the quality of wings has improved. There used to be a Korean lunch special every Wednesday, but since the head cook was injured, she's been on reduced hours, if/when the lunch special returns, I highly recommend everyone give it a try, it was something I looked forward to every Wednesday. The Alberta Pub only has two beers on tap, Molson Canadian and Black Label. If you want a side of Clamato to help the Black Label go down a bit easier, it's an extra $3, a little unreasonable for half a glass of a non-alcoholic beverage. Otherwise the pub has a good selection of bottled and canned beverages at a reasonable price. On Friday and Saturday nights, this place transforms into Vegreville's hot-spot for drinking and dancing.
