Yep, the famous (?) White Goose has returned, bought back by the original (Greek?) owners, and it's also one of the best deals in town -- get the bar steak sandwich cooked to your liking, and swap out the fries for a ceasar salad -- for 8 bucks it's dang good food. Music can get a bit loud on Friday and Saturday nights here when the younger crowd is taking rounds at the pool table or just hanging out shooting the bull, well DUH it's Friday and Saturday night, eh? But hey the older crowd is doing the same thing across the bar, watching whatever sports is on TV.. so pick your spot and chill awhile, it's good company. If you want a table there's booths as well plenty of bar seating and lounge seats or what not, parking is out back or along the alleyway on the side. Great corner location right on Main street so easy enough to get to. Four stars for this place, though they really deserve a full on 5 stars because of the sincere efforts put forth -- so BAM there ya go a rare 5 star rating, this is quite possibly one of the best restaurants in a 50 km radius because of the sheer selection of goodies on the menu, burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, something for everyone, and plenty of drinks on tap to quench your thirst! Prices, ah the prices...are great! Well done, so this place is quickly becoming a fave for me and my wifey. There's a dance floor and some sorta DJ setup or I am not sure what is going on there, so will have to come back to check that out once it is all setup.. they are still perfecting it ;-) BTW if you are wonder what is on tap for the tap handle that is missing... that is RIckards' Red Ale (sp?) which is what I always get because it pairs well with most stuff on the menu.. Food was decent, server was friendly. Atmosphere / decor was lacking. Very small town but no charm.
Yuck they frequently over serve people and let intoxicated people wander in out of the kitchen ew! Would never eat here! Would recommend not going here! I'm a local and would never step foot in this hole!
