When we first moved to Cold Lake and ate at McDonalds, I would have to honestly say the service we recieved was terrible; not only in the drive thru but in the regular service area as well. The food was mostly good, but the service times were terrible. At times we waited over 30mins in Drive Thru. The service times in side the store were simailar. It also seemed every time we went through DT our order was wrong (missing items). If we took our order home and then realized it then. If we called them up and complained, they would not replace the item. They would tell us, we will write your name down in our book and discuss it at the next managers meeting. "If" they felt you were a good person and were being hnonest, they may give you a coupon for your next visit. Most of the time, they wouldn't do it. Word of Caution: Whe you get you order in DT, SIT at the DT window and check your order (even if there is a line behinde you). If everything is there, then pull away from the DT. Like I said, it's almost like they have a policy "once you leave our DT, there are no complaints, no returns, and no refunds.) I do have to admit, their service has gotten a lot better since hiring outsiders (people fom different provinces and countries.). I still double check my order before I leave their DT. Dec 2009
