The place itself is nice. The public,mostly 20-somethings, is there to "see and be seen." The cocktails are regular, nothing exceptional, at Vila Madalena prices. I was there when the Black Rio band p[erformed, which was the highlight of the evening. But it was nearly one o'clock when they entered the stage and my companions had lost their mojo at that point.
