Tried the daily seafood platter. It was great. Good service although the waiter was a trainee. Nice music and ambiance.
Do not be put off by the outside, the ambience inside is excellent . Staff are friendly and service good. The food is very well cooked and nicely presented. Reasonable value for money.
To much seafood as specials otherwise great
Good food, great ambiance average service
Once you get inside the door the place is very comfortable and contemporary, really quite a surprise how nice it's been done, with good lighting and soothing decor. Very attractive colours chosen and attractive choice of fittings selected. The food was fine, quite adventurous really, but not what you could call sublime. For instance the belly of pork wasn't melt in the mouth and the crackling could have been crispier. The service was a little inconsistent, which in my opinion let it down, but something that could be fixed up very easily with some more staff training to bring it to the level needed to match the menu prices asked for. Interesting that the prices are equivilent to the Wild Duck down the road, as the food and service don't offer anywhere near the same level of attention to detail or focus on the customer. My rating is satisfactory 7/10
