Pavilion Cafe & Bar
Reviews
This is one of the best spots Ive been in a long time. The food is great, prices are very reasonable, the view is amazing and the staff are as good as Id expect in a much more expensive restaurant. I came here randomly and Im very glad I did.
Decent place for a coffee stop. Nice view of the bay.
Sitting on the edge of the Breakwater the Pavillion cafe has a lot to live up to, as the views have to be the best in Warrnambool. Large table envelope the balcony and are mirrored inside which allow full views of the bay. ----- We stopped by for a coffee, and at $3.80 each it is hard to go wrong. The staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Didn't have a chance to try the fare, as we had already gorged ourselves on fish and chips on the publicly available tables close by. My recommendation is to take a stroll down the breakwater, chat to those with their line in the water, then go and sit on the Pavilion for what is probably the best coffee in town. A water station in the corner allows for some hydration on an unexpectedly warm Warrnambool day. ----- In a suit or a bathing suit, this is one of the prime spots of Warrnambool, right in the heart of the Lady Bay. Parking is ample and free. Relax. Enjoy.
The Pavilion does a great Sunday Breakfast. My son loves the scrambled eggs.
