We ate at L'Edera last night. We waited 20+ minutes to get a table and ordered promptly but it took another 40+ minutes before the meal arrived. The restaurant wasn’t full, with no more than 10 tables occupied. We ordered a rack of lamb each, which was very good except for the parsnips that were as hard as nails. We sent the parsnips back three times without any improvement and then gave up. The manager refused to believe that there was a problem even though the waitresses had seen and confirmed that the parsnips were not cooked and exceedingly hard. Eventually he agreed to a small discount but we were far from pleased with the experience.
Seriously beautiful food especially love the gnocchi ragu, vegetable stack with our own Shaw River Buffalo Mozz. Lovely ambience and staff. If you miss this restaurant on a trip to Port Fairy your missing out on the best.
L'Edera has a beautiful ambiance which complemented our magnificent meal. Seventeen of our MG Car Club C and V8 Register had a fabulous meal and great night out here last Saturday night. Put it in your diary as a place to go next time you are in the charming village of Port Fairy. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Perfect night out.
