Breakfast, July 2012. A decent cooked breakfast here, poached eggs and sourdough were fine. Pancake stack was excellent. It was a bit cold in the morning with the doors open? Coffee and chai tea were good. Lovely home cooked venue feeling except for horrid art on wall with rats (not with food thank you). Room and potential to improve, but hey ho they were open in the winter and I have a soft spot for these local spots trying to do their best. I wish them luck.

Hey people, I was just browsing on Google Maps a had a look around in Lorne. In '08 I had a job @ Kafe Kaos, I was working to save up some cash for the rest of my trip through OZ. I worked @ Kaos for about 8 weeks and in those weeks I tasted pretty much everything we had on the menu... I have to say; If you're looking for a nice brekky or lunch you gotta get your bumm to Kaos, and trie the Brekky Foccacia, it's like heaven in your mouth! Pretty much averything else is awesome as well. Another thing I'll never forget are the coffee's Paul used to make me... I'd fly back there for one of those, and I live in the Netherlands!! Go see for yourself, you'll love it, I know so! Rens van Gennip
