Why have we waited so long to have dinner at the Whistlestop????? After living in Goolwa for almost a year, we decided to have dinner out at the Whistlestop for the first time. A well decorated cosy dining room with a lovely open fireplace allows for a warm and fragrant atmosphere to enjoy dinner on the coldest of evenings. Service was excellent with the hosts taking your food and drinks orders from the table. The meals on their menu all sounded delicious and reasonably priced. The food we ordered was outstanding. Compliments to the chef!!! We only had an hour there and wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed dessert! We will definitely be returning.
