Lovely little place. Went there because another local cafe was full and glad I did. Fresh food, friendly staff, a little expensive for somewhere so quiet but you definatly get what you pay for.

Black Cockatoo is a favourite of ours. The food is fresh and consistantly great. It is prepared fresh which means there can be a wait when they are busy.
I have never received bad service here. I guess some of it is how you treat them.
We will return to the Black Cockatoo again.
My husband and i went there for dinner while on holidays 3 weeks ago. The food was ok although overpriced but the owner was rude to us although we spend a lot of money there. To me service matters and for that regard i would not recommend that pace!
JULY 2011 - We have been to this restaurant many times always excellant, we have dined in many good restaurants in Australia & Overseas & we would easily rate this as one of our favourites.
