After a long trip from Whitsundays we stopped at the Tropixx motel overnight. Jerome was very helpful at reception and arranged a beautiful meal at 8.30 pm. The meal was lovely and the accomodation was excellent. Jackie the manager helped us find accomodation at mission beach. This is a very well run motel and I highly recommend it.

Our visit to Tropixx was most enjoyable. The location and décor of the rooms, in particular the bathroom, was excellent. The menu in the restaurant was great and we were advised that it was under review by the chef.
We can certainly recommend this place and the options they can suggest for your stay.
Food was unbelievable. Not what you would expect in a small town. More like something from a Brisbane or Sydney restaurant.
Had a great night at the Tropixx Motel and Restaurant last week and attended a degustation dinner where every one of the eight courses was a hit. The service was friendly and the wines were plentiful. Very good value and I would recommend it to anyone. Drive up from Townsville and stay the night!!!
