Staff behind the bar are rude unfriendly and surly. You stand there waiting to get asked what you want but then realise the bar staff are just looking at you, apparently unable to say basic words of English let alone smile. The older lady behind the bar looks as if she is a prisoner and every moment is a living hell for her. With such people skills I am sure it is. If they don't want to work there or operate a business there then please move on.

It's usually pretty tricky for me to eat out in Bundy....but you guys really looked after me.The food was delicious and you guys just adjusted my meal so I was able to eat :) Great customer service & fantastic views of the lake outside at sunset :) will be back. Well done!

Decided to have my birthday dinner here on the weekend just gone because we moved to Bargara recently, and I had up until Saturday attended the tavern semi regular basis. Always found their drive through bottle-o well priced and convenient and otherwise quite enjoyed myself. Throughout the evening the staff were downright rude to me and my guests, we weren't given menus, we basically were laughed at when we asked where our table was at, and everytime I ordered drinks the bar staff acted like I was interrupting their important conversation and should probably have come at another time... I mentioned this when I went to leave and mentioned how rude the gentleman on the phone was to my partner when she went to make the reservations, found out this gentleman was the owner. Long story short, ended up in a fairly large scene being made, me being abused by four staff, and me thoroughly disappointed as to why I had chose this venue for my birthday and why i would give these cu*ts money for piss poor service. Avoid this place like a plague, I will never attend Bargara lakes again. Absolutely disgusted, the owners and staff should be ashamed of themselves. No wonder the place is normally empty.

Steak wasn't cooked to our liking, asked for medium, cooked well done. Went in to play a dollar on a one armed bandit as our 16 year old daughter asked to play, we were told by a rude arrogant old man that we were bad parents for sitting and playing a machine that was 1c a game with our daughter. He swore and was very rude to us and we believe he was possibly the owner! We had just spent well over $100 on food in there and came home feeling really angry at being judge by someone who doesn't have a clue how we are as parents. We have been there and spent a lot of money there in the past but we refuse to ever go there again. :(

great owners and staff - very friendly and professional. Lovely atmosphere and well designed. A credit to the owners!
