Always friendly staff plus amazing food. I love this place. Happily to go there often.
Grand Hotel internet advertisement suggesting fine Italian food is misleading. Recently I was served the worst meals I have ever paid for at this establishment! Pasta undercooked and covered with so much pepper it was inedible. My partners pasta was over cooked and tasteless. Just as well the servings were small and poor value for money. I mentioned this to the "chef" who made a threatening remark. Mate if you can't cook a simple meal like pasta it's time to give up and get another job. Will never eat there again!
I have been a regular visitor to the Grand Hotel over the last 2 years and whilst I have not tried the accommodation.. the services associated with the bar, TAB, Pokies and Resteraunt have been excellent. The staff are well trained and consistently exhibit a professional approach to their daily tasks. The Resteraunt is clearly world class and the quality of food along with the skills displayed in the kitchen make for a very pleasant dinning experience... I believe it has won awards. I recommend both the hotel and resteraunt for the whole family.
Food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. It's much nicer place than what it was in the past. Will go back definitely.
