The moment we got in every action made by the hostess felt like she was rushing to get us out. Very little talking, no smiling and no forks to begin with... Not once did we get a "enjoy your meal" or a "you're welcome" or a "thank you" after our own many thanks. She gave us the wrong wine and gave us no time to think about our orders. Entree's were okay, spring rolls, prawn cutlets, chicken, all okay; very greasy but still edible. Now when it comes to mains, we had a mix of chicken, beef, pork and chow mien. We started eating and straight away something tasted off about my honey chicken. The batter wasn't properly cooked and it coated my mouth making chewing uncomfortable and it just generally tasted bad and doughy. I opened halved the chicken piece with my chopstick (no knives?) and noticed a very pale pink still showing. I put it down and was immediately done with my meal. Tonight showed it wasn't nothing. 3/5 members are currently sick with vomiting, uncomfortable bowel movements, stomach cramps, indigestion and heartburn. It was visually evident from the vomiting that it was the chicken. Do not eat here, they will rush to get you out even if that means under cooking your god-damned chicken. It's cooking 101. Cooked chicken = fine and white and lovely Uncooked chicken = not fine, pink, potentially deadly. Thank you and goodnight!
My wife and I stopped there on the way from Tamworth Country festival and it was our worst meal ever, my one star is overated.
Best Chinese cuisine in the Hunter Valley area, especially in Scone.
