I've had many a good night in the Punt. Thursday night is an absolute rip snorter of a night. There is the pool comp which is quite good fun and certainly brings out a fair few of the local sharks, and a jukebox in the corner with a top selection of tunes that belts out all evening. Make sure that you flick a few coins in. I guarantee you'll have a real good time. During the weekends it's a really laid back establishment and its nice to just sit at the bar, have a quiet beer and also have a yarn with any local that happens to stroll on in through the door. The meals are pretty good, with a top selection available. The bar is always well stocked, whether it be a broad selection of beers your after. Or maybe a particular spirit. You'll always find something happening at the Punt. It can be very lively at times for a small town.
Great food and staff. Cheap meals.
