Although I do not play lawn bowls, I found the Campelltown Bowling club a very pleasant, laid back place to have a beer or two. It has a lovely northerly aspect which looks over the bowling greens and gets nice sun and natural light during the day. I enjoyed watching the bowlers show their skills on the lawns whilst I sipped my beer. The staff were really friendly and the beers were very cheap. Its a registered club though, if u are not already a member you will have to find another member to sign you in, which the staff gladly assisted me with.
