Disgusting service. There was plenty of seats inside and out. After sitting outside on the deck and ordering a meal, we sat waiting, 10 minutes later the same waitress who took the order came out and told us that we could not have a dog (italian greyhound shorthaired 18in high) on the deck outside. There were no signs saying dogs not allowed on outside deck. Despite them having a takeaway area to the front with benches, we were not offered a seat in this area. Despite the chef telling the waitress he had already started cooking our fish, she asked us to leave and refunded out money! Unbelievable! If I was the manager of this place I would certainly not be happy that my staff were turning customers away. We have stayed in Bergamui a while but they can be certain we will not be spending any money at this venue
Lunch. $40 for 2 meals; fish, chips & salad. One a grilled special, the other a standard menu item. Yum. YUM! We ate in, you can also take away for less $$. No charge water. Sat outside in the sun. Fish was great, shoestring chips perfect, the salad a treat. Well constructed & dressed salad with extras like roasted pumpkin bits and semi-sun dried tomatoes. Had a horrible fish & chips disaster in Batemans Bay. This was a treat and excellent value. 9/10.
