Puglioni's Pasta & Pizza
Reviews
My wife and I really wanted to love this place, we even came back a second time, hoping that we just had bad luck the first go round. I couldn't believe how lame the pasta dishes were, we got the original pasta marinara with a meatball. The meatball tasted like (and yes I said meatball, as in singular, because you only get one-it's not big either) wet mushy goo, kind of like cat or dog food. Nothing special about the pasta, my wife has made better at home. Then to top it off, nothing was right, wrong salad dressing with the salads, wrong meals (she brought us spaghetti instead of our choice of rotini), even managed to mess up our drinks and give us regular instead of diet. We are from out of state and can't believe this restaurant is getting so much hype, we kind of wondered if the folks frequenting the place never had good italian, because let me tell you this is not it my friend.
A favorite of my family for several years now. Pasta Primavera with white sauce, vegetarian lasagna and classic lasagna, mega cheese pizza, French fry salad, the bread, the calzones, and pine nut dressing are some of our favorites.
I was underwhelmed and frankly disappointed. I read all the great reviews on here, and expected it to live up to the hype. The garlic loaf was decent, it was fresh, but I've had better at other local Italian restaurants. My husband's pasta dish was so bland that he ate half my Alfredo, instead of his own food.
I love this place! I've liked every dish that I have tried here. They are reasonably priced and the employees are friendly, helpful, and always act as if they are genuinely happy to see you. The homemade rolls are out of this world. ^_^
One of my favorites in Morgantown. Chicken Parm is on point.
