Idle Hour Cafe & Steak House

I had the country benedict. A platter full of biscuits browned on the grill and sausage gravy, Fat well seasoned sausage links, and two eggs over medium all in a pile with crisp hashbrowns. Coffee was Tully's. I finished up with a Bloody Mary. 8:30 in the morning but it is Sunday. Citron cliantro vodka, very nicely flavored tomato juice, topped with bacon, celery and a tooth pick with green olives and ham. I left very happy. I will go there again. I went there for dinner on a friday night. I had 14oz ribeye nice crisp sear on the outside perfect med rare on the in side.bake potato, corn on the cob, dinner salad, and a little loaf of wheat bread. Very good. Had peach blueberry pie and coffee for desert. A beer with dinner came out to $32 before tip. very happy with my meal. I will go there again.
I was just in this place Tuesday night and had a great time. great wait staff and food. I've been there before last year and what a great surprise to walk into this place. this place has been through a full remodel. atmosphere is great, cant believe how different this place looks. Its new name is the Idle Hour Eatery and Spirits. Northwest Ales on tap, signature drinks. I had the Burner burger, fantastic!!!! cant wait to go back.
In the middle of no where you can get a great steak (ribeye) and local beers (the porter). Do not hesitate to go there.
Great food, friendly staff.
We've eaten here at different times, just not breakfast yet. The food is terrific but priced too high for local people. The first time we ate there, they didn't even have real bacon bits for the baked potato. But everything else is just about perfect---clean! I took two women from Spokane who had made a project of hitting every restaurant in town, and they both pronounced it better than anything else they'd tried in the "big city".
