My daughter and I needed some time together this week so we drove down to West. Of course we had lunch first, including a skunk egg, chicken fried steak and sausage and kraut. Both of us left with a box for dinner. The meals are huge, drinks in a quart glass, and the rolls out of the world. It's kind of a red neck place but just right for us. We found out the bakery next door is owned by the same people and that is really where I left my heart, right in the middle of the kolaches, etc. You have to go there.

The pizza was great, too, but the Skunk Egg ROCKED! Great atmosphere for family dining and variety of food, too!
Damn good food
Great food and better people! Make sure to ask for a Skunk Egg - cheese, chicken, jalepenos, onions and bacon formed in the shape of an egg, battered and deep fried. Amazing!!!!
