Service was good, bourbon chicken and crab rangoons were awesome! Overall for a fast food Chinese place, I think it was very good and the lunch special is overflowing with food.
Waited in line behind 4 cars, we got to the front and the guy made eye contact with me twice and flat out ignored me. Never opened the window or anything to signal he acknowledged me other than accidental eye contact. Absolutely ridiculous and flat out rude. This employee should take a course in customer service! (Tall guy with long hair and gaged ears) this establishment will never receive a dime from me.
I had the "House Chicken" with steamed rice and steamed broccoli. It was hot, very tasty, and had a spicy little kick! The restaurant staff were pleasant and I was very pleased with the overall drive-thru experience.
I don't get the raving reviews about this place. We did the drive-thru and our food was ready in record time, but much too fast for a "made to order" restaurant. The food tasted bland and the chicken and veggies was really no different than what you can buy frozen. I ordered the chicken and mushroom but as far as mushrooms go there may have been about 5 or 6 of them in my meal. The rest was overloaded frozen veggies. I wouldn't have minded it being frozen had there actually been some good flavor to it, but the blandness was really bad. A much better express/drive-thru Chinese is the one in Chandler, by far! And if you want a good sit down restaurant you can't go wrong with China King in Tyler. Ming's is below average.
