I have never wrote a bad review tell now. This is a real disappointment for me. De Soto Outback had such bad service out of all the Outbacks I've been to. We reserved a spot for 7:30 we didn't get seated till 8 to start off. They took our drink and appetizers order. While waiting for our drinks the table across from us just got seated. We got our drinks no bread. The table across got their drinks and bread. We had to ask several times about the bread and our bloomin onion. While waiting the table across from us had received 3 loafs of bread before we had even received 1. They come to take our orders and we now received our blooming onion and bread. 15 minutes later they come back to tell us that they don't have any prime rib left .When we complained about the service the owner and manger were like it was no big deal. I wanted to leave, I would of but my little one was so hungry and had her meal ordered, so I stayed to let her get her food. 1 hr into this she finally gets her food. The food she received was over cooked and had a hair in it. This is what really tops it off, the table across from us got their food before us, complained and then got everything they ordered comped. Us? We had to pay.

ask for 1/2 salad, cook and manager rushed to me, leaning over my face ranting about this not being the time/date for this order, began overbearing speech about the daily specials; my daughter and I felt shell shocked by the time they left after finally allowing my order to be accepted. That 1/2 salad was billed at $10.00; I would have gladly changed my order if it was a problem but did not expect such a theatrical response. had I been by myself I would have walked out. We were only able to laugh it off because of the movie Office Space seen the night before. The wimpy, mumble mouth employee was always being mistreated and would respond under his breath with remarks like,"they said I could have cake" after bypassed at a birthday celebration for the mean boss. My daughter leaned over to me and mumbled,"they said I could have a Cobb salad". We fell out laughing, it relieved the tension. By the way that employee got the perfect revenge(see the movie). This is my revenge.

Your average Outback. Nicer personnel than usual, same food, same ambiance.

Lobster was very small and over cooked. Steak was also over cooked. Not good at all!!!!

At the Bar: Ervin/Mark were really great and very attentive. My sweet tea glass stayed full the whole time (this is one of my pet peeves when it doesn't happen). Ribeye, asparagus and Bake Potato soup was wonderful.
