Best food in Philly burbs. Call it French fusion or simply Hip French. There's a reason why reservations are impossible to get at The Birchrunville Store Café.
My husband and I visited the Birchrunville Cafe for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was the best dinner I ever had! If they are serving the Bronzini fish special, I highly recommend you get it! This is an amazing restaurant...the food...the atmosphere...the service. It can't be beat!
Delightfully hidden in the country, but absolutely worth the drive. BYOB makes this a special treat as we took a white & a red so we wouldn't be limited. The escargot appetizer was the best I have ever eaten & the duck roulade was spectacular. My veal was a perfect medium rare and all the veggies were fresh & crisp. We can't wait to go back.
Even though it is off the beaten path, it is worth a visit from anywhere in the area for the wonderful setting and great food. BYOB. Don't rely on a GPS to find the restaurant.
