While in Oneonta, NY for the first time, I saw The Red Caboose from the outside and it looked like an inviting place. Not only inviting from the outside, but the inside was very welcoming as well. I decided to sit at the bar and eat and the bar-tender/server Kate was absolutely awesome. Not only was the beverage good, but the (Gnocci) special was the best I'd ever had. I truly can't wait to come back. A sure hit for me!

Really, really excellent food and a great value. Not many places in the area deserve the term "cuisine", but this is definitely one of them.
