Are you kidding me, it is always great!! Relaxing/inviting....have a few drinks/dinner, watch a game. Yes lots of locals so really nice. Charlie & Teri are always welcoming! Hats off to the cooks...delicious...
While I was a kid and don't remember, my Dad raved about Virgie's. And to whomever wrote the review saying the food was too spicy and had no taste... well you need to go back up north or east, because New Mexico food is just not for you!!!
Good Mexican food for low price. Comfy environment and friendly servers. Recommended.
Had some good sneaky strong margaritas and the 2 taco dinner. Very good food for a great price. The red and green sauces were excellent. The flat bread was fresh and scrumptious. As a White guy from LA with my Guatemalan wife, we were happy to be immersed in the Native American environment. I did not mind that I was offered some really good Native American Jewelry. Though I declined in a whisper, the response was friendly and polite. I would def. rec this place and would go back again should I be in Gallup.
