I want to rant! Okay so today...yes today about 25 minutes ago. My Uncle and grandmother decided to go out for her birthday. Plus we just happened to stop off before heading on the road again. 10 minutes for beverages 15 minutes for appetizers 1 Hr later our food arrives. We eat, we talk, and finally we're done. We all pay the amount thats due. She takes it (I won't name the waitress's name but I will keep it in mind.) Then we get ready for her to return. Get this...She comes back and says, loudly, "The balance doesn't add up, you need 45$." I was thinking to myself, 45$?! Are you serious? Out of what we just paid? We stare at her for awhile and finally ask her... "What?! How is that possible?!" and she says again, "45$ more." Now here we are confused with a ton of people staring at us. My uncle gets upset and demands she count the amount she has in her hand. Guess what....she had the WHOLE AMOUNT THAT WAS DUE. WHAT WOULD SHE HAVE DONE WITH 45$ IF WE BLINDLY GAVE IT TO HER?! (Of course I think I know what she would have done.) Warning: Beware of miss counted money and amounts. Never again.
Food and services were great!! When I got my receipt it was folded showing me the percentage for a tip!! 15%, 18%,and 20%!!! Ok I know what to tip ,and it depends in my service!! Before all this it was going to be a great tip, this changed that!!
I always go to Applebee's when I am traveling. The service was just bad. I waited and watched the bar tender chat with friends for too long before she decided to come my way. You get the impression the staff is trying to put this place under. ?
Worst restaurant in Gallup. I'ts a complete dump on the inside. Not clean, I feel like there are bugs on the floor. The food is okay. But worst of all is the service. It's really bad on Gallup standards, and that's saying a lot! from management to servers it was really a mess going out there, and i will not be going there again.
Our waitress was firm. My food was horrible. At one point I watched 2 server's wrap silverware. And the girl was using the napkins as a pillow. What if she was wearing make-up? It hasn't change from they first open. MacDonalds is a better choice.
