Worst chicken fried steak I've ever had unless you like it overcooked and burned. I don't think they even know what real chicken fried steak smothered in gravy is, Very disappointing, service was average at best.
Visited the Peppermill many times both for lunch and supper and I've never been disappointed. The food is always flavorful, well prepared, excellent quality, and just delicious. Great drinks, too, if you're so inclined. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the meal is always a good value. You can't go wrong here! They change the menu frequently, so there's always something new to try. The Haybuster is a new item, and is a new favorite of mine. Absolutely delicious. The 2013 Nebraska Best Burger, the Joseph Angus burger is also a winner, and both are my go-to items for lunch. The steaks and grilled shrimp are wonderful for supper, and the appetizers are amazing, and different from the run of the mill appetizers the chain restaurants sell. Great dining experience. Every. Single. Time.
Stayed in Valentine for 3 nights. We went to Peppermill the first night and enjoyed it so much, we returned the 2nd night. The rib eye was fantastic!
Licked my plate clean. Best diner in 'Braski!
