That's the thing, don't use last minute lies to rationalize your lame excuses. I'm so sorry I didn't buy a beer at your front counter. I know it's all you care about. If you didn't know, I've been going to sixteen(16) open mics a week, and there's plenty of people and plenty of time to convince all sorts of folks not to come to little ol' pucketts, and just because they haven't been there doesn't mean they wouldn't have been there. I think it's only reasonable, and fair for me to spare people the lies and waste of time you may unfairly present them with, and the waste of money you'd likely have someone waste on alcohol just to give someone a fair shot at playing 10 minutes on your stage, while buddy buddy, and women get the special treatment. I don't know, maybe 40 minutes. I mean really, I wait an hour and fifteen minutes for you and you posse to bully and dismiss me, thanks. I've been coming there for the past six weeks and you pull the crap out of your hat of crap, and shove it in my face. Did I mention, I've waited there for two hours before. The open mic starts at 8:00pm, as far as I heard, at least on the phone the first time I called there, and being sixth on the list I wait until 10:45pm to get my awesome chance to play two, two minute songs on stage, wow. (I declined after mister open mic guy, and his body guard shawn kept rationalizing lies to get me to leave, and they knew I'd refuse and leave, so they decided to push it til I did, so really they gave me the finger and said "golly gee, we didn't do nothin' wrong, we're the victims here".) Lovely and fair open mic I see you have running. I don't think others should come to your little exclusive circle jerk, where there aren't any rules, and you make them up as you go, and where others get preferential treatment, and others get the middle finger. Others shouldn't risk it coming to your place, at least, as it seems now. There's always room for rationalization, and never any room for apology, or fairness." If you want to play open mic be prepared for the pickup line " a couple of songs, little boy". Of course, unless you're a buddy, or a woman, who likes to defend pathetic lies like "you didn't wait long enough" and "I'm losing" excuses like, "my house my rules". No buddy, that's not the point, I made the point and you stuck your finger up your butt.
