Mortimer's Cafe and Pub

Great little bar with better than average bar food. Has a few vegetarian options, and prices are reasonable for uptown. Bartenders are always really good. They have a few good beers but not much of a craft beer selection.
Stood at the door for 4 min and the workers just looked me like I was at the wrong spot won't be coming back
Terrible. I got the Double Dare Dog. Two Hebrew National dogs on a single bun, with some fries, $11. Too pricey, firstly. Too little toppings, second. The bun was terrible. I don't know if it was badly prepared or badly conceived, but it was chewy like chibatta bread, so you couldn't take one bite of dog, topping, and bread. The extra $1 for fries is totally not worth it, the fries are the same thing you can get a hundred-pound bag of at Costco for $5. They only give you a plastic fork as the only utensil, so if you get this inedibly hard bun, you can't even cut it up to make it better. Terrible experience. Took my wife and her dad, they had similar problems with their food. Overpriced, cheap crap. :(
We stumbled upon PJ's after dinner one night recently. We were intrigued by a coffee spot with cool music, cocktails and hookah service. We tried them all...and were delighted. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet fun. The service was friendly and prompt. The drinks (both coffee and mixed) were delicious. The hookahs were fun and the service great. We will definitely be going back.
I've been here a handful of times now, and it's turning into one of my favorites!! Their Jack and Gingers are always tasty and a must-ha!! All the staff seem to be super mellow, and I love the bar's vibe-really chill and homey...also, what drew me in was their Bloody Mary Bar-it was off the hook!!!! Thank you!!! Definitely recommend!!!
