Mugshots Bar and Grill

Ive visited this location twice. The first time, food and service was fair but you expect more than 'fair' food when youre paying $9 for a burger and fries. Today was my second visit. I took my elderly dad with me and was quickly escorted to a table. Thats where the service ended. We sat 20 minutes hoping and waiting that someone would come and take our order. Never happened. And they werent terribly busy either. I saw servers congregating in two different areas chatting amongst themselves. At the end of 20 minutes, we got up and left in disgust. I dont expect to be making a third visit and I definitely wouldnt recommend any newcomers to try a first. Much better choices available.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. They have a lot of other menu options, but I'm too addicted to the burgers to try anything else. Service is always good. Great place to have a beer and watch some sports.
I've been to Mugshots twice, once each in two different locations: Meridian and Starkville. In both, the service was awful, and the food subpar, particularly for the price. The appetizer I received was cold--still frozen in the middle, in fact--the first time it came to the table. It was sent back, and its replacement was still half-frozen, as well! The burger was absolutely awful. I'm not sure how they managed to make it slimy, squishy, and crumbly all at the same time. Save yourself the money and frustration and go elsewhere.
The burgers was delicious. I had the pizza burger . Its a half pound burger with pizza sauce, onions, mozzarella, green peppers, Italian seasoning, mushrooms. The burgers were serve with beer battered fries and very large ice tea. Very large portions for two people. Ignore the first review. This food is good especially during football season.
I have had a few things off the menue that were pretty good. My fav is the club house sandwich .....
