We decided to treat my daughter to Nola as part of her Graduation day this year (2013) Having never been there but read good reviews of the place. Well we (my wife and I) were not impressed at all. The decor was nice enough and the waitress was quite nice but we ended up waiting over 1 hr 30 minutes for our meals to come out to us, and when I ate it, I really did not like the taste of it, neither did my wife, nor my daughter. So I informed the waitress that we did not care for the taste of the meal. Now what really surprised me was the owner made absolutely no attempt at making this right with us, instead the waitress came back out offering us a free desert. Which we turned down the offer of a free desert as we had not been able to eat a entre yet. Then to add insult to injury, after being served a meal we did not eat, we were still fully charged (and paid for it) for our meal. Needless to say, we were not impressed and we will never walk in the door at Nola ever again, shame though because we don't live very far at all here in Cleveland, MS

I think most people only eat here because it's one of the few places to have a nice sit down meal in Indianola but the food isn't anything to write home about and it's overpriced. The service is awful and recently the manager was so rude to a friend of mine that she had to leave (she was so upset). I don't understand why the owner didn't apologize and to top it all off, we still had to pay for something she didn't even take a bite of. If you need a nice lunch in Indianola, go to the Crown which is around the corner- the service is impeccable! If you're looking for dinner, drive to Greenville or Greenwood instead, don't patronize this god awful place.
I went to NOLA's yesterday while in the area for business. It was super. I had the chicken salad and fruit. I loved the fruit dip. I am usually very picky about my chicken salad but this was great. My friends had the taco salad that was huge and the chef salad that looked good too. Thanks I'll be back the next time I am in this area.
Great food and service and his niece is the best!
