We came in from out of town and were thrilled to see something we knew would satisfy us and was still open (we walked in at 9:30pm). Before I get to the review, I will say that the food was good. No complaints there. Now: Cheddar's was packed. When we walked in there was a large crowd of workers that either got off work or were just hanging out with their buddies. There was no hostess so I excused myself to go to the bathroom. Of the four stalls, three seats were "sprayed" and not flushed. Ew. No soap was in either dispenser so I used my own sanitizer. I left the bathroom and went to ask the now present hostess where she seated my husband and she didn't know. "Someone else must have seated him. He's probably back there somewhere." Thanks. When I found him he said that an off the clock worker seated him (she came in from outside and didn't have a uniform on). Our server came and took our order, brought us our drinks, honey butter croissants, and my salad. So far, so good. Our food came out fairly fast, not super quick but we weren't thinking about it. Once our food arrived, we saw that our side of bbq sauce was missing but our server was already gone. We started eating when the manager came by and asked is how we were. We told him that we haven't seen our server for a while and we didn't get our bbq sauce and that I would like a soda refill. He said he would take care of it. He checked on a table beside us and asked the same thing, they also had some problems he said he would take care of. A few minutes later the manager came back with the other table's sides/drinks/sauces/whatever. A few more minutes pass. My husband gave me his water and we finished eating without our sauce. We still haven't even seen our server walk by. Two other servers passed us at random times and refuse to make eye contact. All we want to do at this point is bail. We have never walked out of a check, and never will, but this is the closest we have come. We go to the bar and ask for our check. The manager was printing it as we walked up and handed it to us, saying he was on it. We tell him again that our server vanished. He didn't seem too concerned, "She's over there somewhere" and waving his hands towards the other side of the restaurant. Another server, one we hadn't seen at all, brought us our card receipt. Get your order to go.

The first time I went there was a fight between employees. Every visit since we had horrible customer service. The last time no one took our drink or food order for at least 40 minutes. I've had 2 incidents where I didn't leave a tip, but the waiter put there own tip in and I saw that on my bank statement. I got my money back both times though.

The first time my husband and I ate there, the food was delicious, the drinks were awesome, and the service was stellar! The second and LAST time we ate there? It took us 10m to even be acknowledged by an employee, despite the fact that the manager walked by us 4 times, and there were MAYBE 5 other tables with guests at them. After another 5 minutes, the hostess came out, held up to fingers (I guess asking if it was just the two of us), seated us, didn't say a word, and walked off. Fifteen minutes later, and being passed by 4 servers, we still hadn't even been asked for our drinks. I really enjoy the food there, but I will NOT be back.

I can honestly say that my very first experience at Cheddars, there was naturally a long wait time. Once we were seated we happened to be in the midst of a fight between employees.. I mean professionalism definately lacked but my recent visits have been better, well no one is fighting at least, but wait times are toooooo long!!!

Horrible Service...we waited over 40+ minutes for our food. The food was arriving as we were leaving. Menu prices are very reasonable, alcoholic beverages are a good value, however the food has no value unless you can eat.So never go there. Shreveport, LA location....
