Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

It's basically the appleby's of Mexican food. The real question you should be asking yourself though, is whether or not it's better since it's essentially the same price. The answer to THAT question is "No." I went once, and we left after the appetizer. This place is about as Mexican as Olive Garden. Don't waste your time.
I only go there because my wife loves their wet burritos. Me, I dislike it more every time. Last week I ordered a New York steak, well done. The place wasn't full. After 30 minutes of munching on chips and salsa, the waiter said it was going to take a little longer because I wanted "well done". Really? NOW it was my fault? Our plates finally came ONE HOUR after we ordered. We knew the exact time because my daughter had a phone picture of her almost unacceptable FROZEN drink, with the time. My meat wasn't sizzling, so I touched it right after the waiter put the plate down and while she still was at our table. It was cold, and so were the fries. The usual "plates are very hot" was never said. I ate because I was very hungry, even cold that steak was good, but the pico de gallo salsa was a joke. People on a table next to us were equally exasperated. I heard them ask for the manager. When the manager came, their food came. All she said was OH, PERFECT! and left without even apologizing. That was rude, stupid, coward, laughable. WOW. Another time they apologized and offered us free deserts for the wait, we hadn't even complained... not anymore. Now they blame it on you. It's your fault the other people are waiting too! :)
The guacamole is disgusting.....my wet burrito tasted like the steak was out of a can...the brown sauce on it tasted like salty brown gravy out of a jar....hubby's steak in his fajita tasted like freakin LIVER.....but the carmello cream straws....to die for...thank god something tasted good!!
Over priced bean slop, with an untrained staff of rude servers and managers.
Great food at a good price, and amazing service! :-D
