So I'm in Tehachapi this afternoon picking up my wife. I have my four-year old and promise him ice cream. Someone, unfortunately, had suggested Frosty King, so I tell my little boy that we're heading on over for ice cream. Now, I'm a well-off, well-dressed, normal, polite, kind, undemanding, and patient middle class parent with a four-year old. I walk in and stand at the register with my four-year old talking about how we're going to have a sundae. The cashier is talking to the cook. He looks at me, sneers, and continues talking to the cook. I'm wondering what that's about -- but for the next FIVE MINUTES he talks to the cook and looks at me some four or five times with that sneer on his face. I want to stress that I did or said nothing -- I just stood there. The only thing I did to this cashier was have a skin color that he didn't like. So, I'm getting ready to leave and someone pulls up to the drive-in and a buzzer goes off. He leaves his conversation to go help the drive-through. He then starts helping THE NEXT DRIVE-THROUGH CUSTOMER and I protest to the cook, "I was here before that drive-through." So the cashier comes over and spits out, "Fine. What do you want?" Well, you know, I decided then and there that Frosty King does not deserve my business -- or yours or any other person that has even one molecule of human dignity. So I decide to leave and ask the cook for the manager. Another cashier comes out and she, too, is unfriendly and nasty. I ask for a manager or owner to complain to and she says . . . THE MANAGER DOESN"T TAKE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS! So I leave (my four-year old starts crying because he didn't get his ice cream) and I take him to Cold Stone where I was treated politely, promptly, and kindly by the staff. So SHAME ON THE OWNERS! Shame on the owners for letting a four-year old cry for ice cream because they're too nasty, mean, rude, and racist to provide even minimal customer service! SHAME ON THE OWNERS for not taking customer complaints. SHAME ON THE OWNERS for staffng their business with mean employees. If you're ever in Tehachapi and you want to be treated like a total sack of garbage, go to Frosty King and they won't disappoint you. If, however, you have illusions that you're a human being and deserve the bottom, minimum customer service, take your child to Cold Stone or Baskin Robbins where they'll treat you like a human being. If I could award negative stars, Frosty King would get a resounding negative ten stars. In all my years, the staff here are the meanest, rudest, nastiest, most racist I've ever encountered. Negative five stars.

We ate at this Frosty King Tehachapi on May 29, 2011. Really got sick. We don't trust this place anymore.
