Ordered ma-po tofu to go and a bowl of egg flower soup to eat at the table. Huge portion of soup! Opened my to-go box at home and inside was fried rice only. I would be more forgiving if the waitress did not act as though she were super busy when there were only two other tables with patrons at them. She acted as though she couldn't get away from my table fast enough and on top of that got my order wrong. Beautiful inside the restaurant. The sushi bar looked new and shiny.
Dr Hu....it is nice for you to stick up for your family's restaurant, bur it is unnecessary. The experience speaks for itself!! The only complaint I could possibly ever develop is that the portion size vs. price has become unbearable. The portions are shrinking as the prices stay the same =(. We love this place and have to give it a break in hopes that things might swing back to some kind of previous standards. Thank you though for such a wonderful place for chinese food here in the Penninsula Also of note is the location being outside of Soldotna proper. It is north of town about 5 miles, so plan for your search to accommodate that knowledge
This place has exceptional service and food! The New Japanese Sushi Bar is elegant and upscale. The food is authentic, and I would give it my highest recommendation in a heart beat. Some people are cheap, have no patience and expect unrealistic kiss up service when they can wait more than 1 hour at a steakhouse or 2 hours at Olive Garden, and be just fine with that, but write negative comments on a 45 minute wait when I am sure they went at a time when the restaurant was packed. How pathetic...I wonder what drives you miserable people!? Your negativity around you will engulf you, and remember the Golden Rule! Go read your Bible
Normally go during lunch when we spend $20 for our total meal. They now have a sushi bar. Customer service has been good for us.
Check your food before you leave. They always get it wrong then still expect you to pay for their mistakes. The portions are also small with a big price. The wait staff should also go to charm school, as they are not so friendly. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
