Reviews
As the only restaurant in the neighbourhood, Premium was long on our list of places to visit. We've been twice to have meals there and once to have a drink and icecream sitting on the outdoor terrace. The restaurant interior attempts to recreate a 1920s atmosphere, but only partially succeeds as the eating area opens out on to the lobby of the apartment hotel, whose décor is typical of a modern mid-market, mid-sized Hungarian hotel. The menu is limited but offers some fairly interesting dishes. Price levels are a little lower than a good (by Budapest standards) city centre restaurant. The food itself was a little disappointing as not everything was freshly cooked. Service was good by Budapest standards.
The outdoor terrace, which is open only during the summer, offers drinks and icecream. The terrace was newly-built in 2009 and is in a pleasant location on a quiet one-way street.
