It's a good cocktail bar for the Central Coast (as there really isn't any others). It was warm and cosy and the service was friendly and it would make a nice place to meet friends after work for a relaxed drink. Unfortunately the snacks were a long time coming which was surprising as we only ordered the cheese platter and the sweet potato fries, how long does cheese take to plate? The serving sizes were quite small and a bit overpriced. The cocktails were satisfactory but Sydney prices, and the most disappointing thing was the lack of music. I really like their ethos of not playing loud music so that you can hold a conversation, but the music was just too soft I could hardly hear a murmur and it really could have provided the atmosphere that was lacking from this cocktail bar. Some pictures of old alcohol advertisements on the walls similar to the menu would have been great also, rather than the reject shop looking ones. The outside seating looks like it would be nice place sit and enjoy a beer in the summer. A good attempt at filling the night life void in Gosford.
I've been here 3 times since it opened over the past 2 years and it has been excellent every time. The bar staff add a little personal touch when they offer you something off menu and give it you in their favourite class. Classy, friendly and a cosy atmosphere. What more could you ask for?
At first a top San Fran style cocktail bar in Gosford doesn't make sense. But wow, this place REALLY makes sense after you step inside. The young crew are top notch and love their cocktails. They've created an intimate environment that works and would not be out of place on the dock of the bay.
